Rutgers University Piscataway, NJ

Solaire’s Rutgers project is the largest solar parking canopy installation in the US and represents an important milestone in Solaire’s history. It proved Solaire’s ability to deliver a project of 8 MW scale, while demonstrating that the Solaire 360 D carport is an economical, yet equally safe and attractive, alternative to Solaire’s Premium carport.

Dow Jones’ Campus South Brunswick, NJ

The Solaire Generation canopies at Dow Jones’ South Brunswick, NJ campus cover nearly 230,000 square feet of parking lot, making it the largest corporate solar carport in the United States. Dow Jones & Co. sought a robust premium shading solution to generate energy onsite that would be able to withstand winter snow load and control water runoff. Enhancing the parking experience for its 2,000 employees as well as visitors was also a primary goal, making Solaire’s Premium canopy an ideal fit.

United States Marine Corps Camp Lejeune, NC

Solaire Generation worked with USMC base communities to install parking canopies throughout North Carolina’s Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River. One of these canopies at Camp Lejeune   holds the distinction of  being the largest Garage Top Solar Canopy in the United States.

Waltham, MA

Solaire’s Garage Long Span is the largest garage-mounted solar canopy in the Northeastern United States. Due to its innovative features such as water management and snow guards, this project was a finalist for the Intersolar North America 2015 Award.

Edgewater, MD

Solaire Generation’s Solaire 360 S canopies helped contribute to the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center achieving 17 out of 17 credits for the energy portion of the LEED Platinum certification. The carport incorporates snow guards, LED lighting, and serves as an education display for visitors to the Center.

Whole Foods Brooklyn, NY

Solaire’s installation at the new Brooklyn Whole Foods Market was a winner for the Intersolar Award for Projects in North America, the SPG Award for the Best US Solar Project in 2013, and a finalist for PV America’s Project of the Year. The Premium canopies supply approximately 380,000 kWh of clean electricity annually (about 25% of the site’s load) and comprise the largest solar parking system in New York City.

Staples Headquarters Framingham, MA

Solaire’s Garage Long Span canopy elegantly crowns Staples’ new parking garage at their Framingham, MA headquarters. The project was a finalist for the 2013 Intersolar Award. The solar power system will offset more than 12,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) over the next 20 years—the equivalent of removing more than 2,300 cars driving 12,000 miles per year from the road.

Konterra Laurel, MA

Solaire Generation partnered with  Standard Solar and Solar Grid Storage to install Maryland’s first corporate microgrid for the Konterra Realty Group in Laurel, MD. The project was awarded Solar Builder Award’s Project of the Year 2013.
